Prompt #8: Why should I hire you?
My gut is filled with a lot of things. From fish sticks and nutella to fried shark, god knows what’s mixed up in there. However, it’s gotten me to a lot of places and shown me new sides of myself. While most people are headstrong, I like to call myself “gut” strong, and that’s why I go with it. If it wasn’t for my gut, I wouldn’t exist. I mean, I actually wouldn’t exist because I need my gut to survive. But more importantly, I would’ve never stepped foot in the creative field if it weren’t for my gut. It was a week before college applications were due, and I had a huge decision to make. Do I continue along this path of boredom, chasing dollar signs as an engineer? Or do I answer the call of the creative industry, and pursue something that I felt like I was destined for. And so, for the first time ever, I went with my gut.
Since going with my gut, I’ve taken more risks, tried new things, and expanded life’s palette. And I don’t intend on stopping anytime soon. My gut’s hungry, like always hungry. And I’m ready to work with my team to make sure we eat every brief up. I understand that we are in an ever-changing digital era, where every syllable matters, every tap is counted and every like is monitored. I not only present myself with strong leadership and creative skills but a gluttonous appetite. For creativity, of course. I belong in your creative department because I’m always hungry for more, and will do whatever it takes to satisfy that hunger.
